Throughout her career, she has been involved in the analysis of various sectors and industries, such as food, retail, the electrical sector, pharmaceuticals, the mining sector, among others. In these projects she has provided specialized advice for the resolution of economic competition cases, the economic analysis of concentrations; forecasting future flows for the valuation of companies; estimating the impact of public policies; and the impact of unfair trade practices. She has extensive experience using statistical information to make diagnoses, propose solutions, and communicate ideas that support decision-making based on objective evidence through clear interpretations and data visualization.
Prior joining SAI she has worked as economic consultant, as comptroller of international projects in China, as well as project manager for infrastructure projects in Mexico funded with Chinese investment. Within the public sector she has held various positions: she was as advisor to the head of the National Institute of Statistics (INEGI) where she lead the project of communicating statistical and geographical information to non-experts through social media; she worked in the Ministry of Finance for over seven years, in the Investor Relations Office, in the Public Debt Office and in the Economic Planning Directorate, actively participating in the preparation of the National Development Financing Program (PRONAFIDE) 2002-2006.
Ximena holds a degree in economics as well as a Diploma in Corporate Finance from ITAM in Mexico City.
