Acquisition of Shawcor by Tenaris
SAI represented Tenaris in an agreement involving the acquisition of Shawcor’s coating company (Canada, U.S., Mexico, Norway, and the UAE). Following the acquisition, Tenaris strategically positioned itself for vertical integration in coated pipe production, primarily for the oil and gas sector. SAI led the pre-merger procedure as the principal advisor, obtaining unconditional approval from COFECE.
